"Human beings get excited to contribute once they’ve had the chance to experience it, not talk about it"

~Tony Robbins~

The interactive platform is created to provide travelers interested in nature conservation with information (video-reviews and interviews) on available projects that work with small grassroots organization. The idea for the future is to also include stories from the volunteers themselves so it serves as a place where travelers can share their travelling experience with other passionate travelers/conservationists.

We look forward to visit more small grassroots organisations in the future. Either in Cabo Verde or in another West African countries!

If you are interested in learning more about biodiversity of Cabo Verde or would like to support or even join some organizations working to protect sea turtles, cetaceans or marine birds then you should have a look at the list of organizations (above photo). Some of them offer voluntary placements for international volunteers. There are also smaller, community run projects that are not mentioned here and usually don't accept volunteers (at the moment). It is also good to note that some NGO's operate on more than one island (for example Biosfera 1 runs its camps on St.Luzia island).

“Nothing so liberalizes a man and expands the kindly instincts that nature put in him as travel and contact with many kinds of people"  ~Mark Twain~
